Lesson 4: Learning the R, T, Y, and U keys

The "R" key

To type the "R" key, start with your left index finger on the "F" key. Move your left index finger up and very slightly to the left. Return your left index finger to the "F" key.

The "T" key

To type the "T" key, start with your left index finger on the "F" key. With your left index finger, reach upward in an angle to the right. You don't have to try to stretch the finger to the key. You can slightly lift your fingers to get to the key. Return your left index finger to the "F" key.

The "Y" key

To type the "Y" key, start with your right index finger on the "J" key. With your right index finger reach upward in an angle to the left. Again, the same principles of reaching for the "T" key applies for the "Y" key. Return your left index finger to the "J" key.

The "U" key

To type the "U" key, start with your right index finger on the "J" key. Move your right index finger straight up. Return your right index finger to the "J" key.
